Why is this topic important?
Growing up, most of us were not taught how to regulate and work with our emotions. You most likely were raised to believe your emotions were a “bad thing” or that the way you were feeling was “wrong”.
You were taught to suppress your emotions as you grew by your peers, teachers, and caregivers for fear of judgment or punishment.
You continued the cycle of suppressing your emotions until you became an adult and you continue to suppress them now. This can lead to your emotions becoming stuck which manifests as illness, pain, outbursts, and actions in your life that you feel shameful about and/or don’t understand.
Have you ever said something you regret to someone in your life because you were angry with them?
Have you ever felt fear for a situation and let this fear inhibit you from doing what you wanted?
Have you ever felt shame about something and let it alienate you from those you care most about?
Most likely you have felt and experienced one or all of these things mentioned above. This can lead to dire consequences in ALL areas of your life. When you refuse to honor and work with your emotions you are closing-off a part of yourself. You are only living half-a-life. It is up to you to learn how to reconnect, regulate, and work with your emotions so you may regain peace and sovereignty in your relationships, business, work, decisions, and in yourself.
When you learn to work with your emotions and let them pass as they are meant to you are creating more spaciousness within yourself. You are open to attracting what is aligned with you and your highest self: relationships, business-opportunities, wealth, creations, and more. You are also paving the way for others to do the same. You are showing them what it means to be in-tune with your emotions and the implications this has on your life and the world.
Who Is This Workshop For?
This workshop is for anyone and everyone interested in learning more about your emotions, what they are, and how to work with them to better yourself and your life. This workshop is also more specifically for you if:
You want to know more about your emotions: You are curious about what your emotions are, what blocks you from experiencing your emotions where you feel them in your body, how they show up in your life, what triggers them, and how to work with them.
You want to feel peace within: When you run away or block your emotions by coping mechanisms such as drinking, eating, relationships, TV, etc. you are creating tension within yourself and your body. Emotions do not just go away because you refuse to feel them. When you instead turn towards your emotions instead of away from them you begin to create more harmony between them and all parts of your experience.
You feel your emotions cloud your judgment: Maybe you make decisions that later on you regret. Maybe you say yes to something when you wish you would have said no. Maybe you ate a whole pizza when you intended to eat rice and beans for dinner because your partner broke up with you. Bottom line. You are taking action from a place that isn’t really you. You are taking actions based on how you are feeling. This can lead to you feeling even worse.
You want an emotional guide: I have been where you are. And sometimes I still am! But I have taken the journey down into the underworld of my emotions and let me tell you, it has transformed literally ALL areas of my life for the better!! Because I have faced my emotions I now feel more love and acceptance for myself and each part of my journey: this is what I seek to bring to you during our time together.
You desire tools that will last a lifetime! During our time together I will be sharing tips, tools, and teachings that you can use FOREVER on your journey with your emotions. You can use them more than once to help deepen your experience, have new perspectives, and receive clarity on the purpose of your emotions and what they signify to you moment to moment.
You want to be apart of a supportive community of others: In this workshop you will have the opportunity to share your story and experience and listen to others do the same. This will allow you to have validation for your feelings, camaraderie with those in the group, and new ways of seeing this topic through the eyes of another. Pretty cool right?!?
Harmonious relationships and honest conversations are important to you: So much of the time your emotions get in the way of actually hearing what someone else is saying. You are so caught up in how you are feeling about what they said or did that you have a hard time engaging in a conversation that isn’t sobbing, yelling, screaming, projecting, attacking, shrinking away, etc. It seems that nothing gets solved and worked through and you’re left feeling confused, emotional, shameful, etc. When you can learn to work with your emotions and sit with them you are able to be a part of conversations that are powerful and life changing. Conversations that benefit both parties in the relationship.

One, 3-hour session via zoom that will be recorded and emailed to you along with the slides from our workshop to keep FOREVER.
Experiential exercises such as meditation and journaling to help you experience this information in a new way so you can truly EMBODY what it means to do this healing work.

Our session will be held via zoom. I will email the link to the group about a week or so before our session.
This workshop will take place on Saturday, August 6th from 8am-11am Hawaii Time. Please note the time difference when registering for this workshop!
We will take a few breaks in our session as well. Please bring water, and something to write with and on:).

About Your Guide
Rylee Hedberg is a wild-woman on her heroines journey back to her wild and true self. After leaving her roots to travel and connect to her inner-knowing, as well as to find alignment and peace with her inner-world, she learned wisdom from allies, mentors, and our beautiful Mother Earth. She currently resides on the Big Island of Hawai’i (or the land of native Hawaiian people) where she helps other souls like yourself reconnect to their wildness.
