Module 4: Finding Joy and Inner-Peace by Working With Your Inner-Child!  

Aloha beauties and welcome to week four! I am super excited to be sharing with you the magic of connecting and working with your inner-child as well as creating and allowing yourself to feel more joy in your life!

Both of these things have been so transformational for me and my own personal journey of shifting my perspective of what is possible for me and my reality.

Below you will find two videos. One is working with the inner-child and the other is on joy and how to create/experience more of it in your life. Yay!! I encourage you to watch both as they are only around 20 minutes long each.

In order to integrate and embody this into the week and into your life I have included some experiential practices for you below:

Practices For The Week

Again, I encourage you to pick one that resonates with you to practice and embody for the week. If you want to do more than one by all means. Play around with them and see what works for you in each moment. One day you might be drawn towards the mantras and the next you are wanting to engage in the meditation.

Inner-Child Soothing Mantras

In the button below I’ve included some mantras that you can recite to yourself when you are needing some support, encouragement, feeling afraid to take action on your desires, etc. You are more than welcome to create your own mantras as well that feel good for you. I encourage you to say these (or a few) each day or a 3-4 times a week. You will start to see the shifts in your beliefs and nervous system from doing this. Either write them down, type them in a google doc, or have them on your phone; somewhere that is accessible for you.

Inner-Child Meditation & Letter Writing Exercise

Please listen to the 15-minute meditation below before completing the letter-writing part of this practice. This meditation will allow you to connect and drop into the perspective of your inner-child in order to understand what they are needing and feeling:). Find a quiet and comfy space to listen to this. Or just a place that allows you to sink into your inner-child’s viewpoint. There is no wrong way to meditate after all!

Pockets of Joy Practice

You’ve already had a bit of explanation on the pockets of joy practice from the video above. Now its time to embody this, yay! Doing this practice has helped me to feel a lot more content with where I am currently at in my life instead of always wishing I was “someone else” or “further along” on my journey. This practice is accessible for everybody. You can tweak it according to each week, each day, and each moment of your life. Pockets of joy activities can take anywhere from ten seconds to month-long vacations! The beautiful thing is, both of these things can give you the SAME FEELING! Pretty neat.
